課程概述

The emphasis of the course is on the studies of growth (both theoretical models and empirical work), population growth, political economy, inequality, poverty traps, fiscal policies, financial development and trade. 

課程目標
 The intention of this course is to prepare students who are interested in economic development for enough background to start their research. 
課程要求
 Grades will be given according to the presentations of papers (40%), class participation (10%) and short notes (50%).
